Holiday Baskets 2009

After much debate, I finally decided what would make up my Holiday Baskets this year.

Soft Ginger Snap Cookies

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookies
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Snickerdoodle Blondies

18 dozen cookies later the finished product came out wonderful! Each year I look forward to making these Holiday baskets, giving a little bit of home away from home.

May all of my blog readers have a Happy Holidays and a very prosperous New Year!

My friend bought a bunch of cookie cutters and wanted to try them out. Here are the results...

My friend's cookies
My cookies (obviously not my forte)
We did make some not so attractive cookies.
On the left is CATDOG and on the right BATFLY.

We had fun and that is all that matters!!!!

Thank goodness we were not entering a contest!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I am a big fan of chocolate chip cookies. When I saw a recipe on http://goodthingscatered.blogspot.com/ they were said to be "The Best" I knew I had to try them out to see. I do have to agree that they are, "The Best" Chocolate Chip Cookies I have eaten. I will now use this recipe from now on!
