Shark Fin Cupcakes

I used fondant but you can use gum paste to make them as well if you have that. Thanks for your comment.

How did you create that effect with the blue icing? Did you use a piping bag? If so which nozzle did you use?

Hello Electra,

For the icing I just used my homemade butter cream and tinted it with Wiltons gels in the little jars. I also used a Wilton tip number 18 drop flower and just swirled in from the center out. Thank you for replying to quickly and letting me know how to create the effect with the icing! I am planning on making these next week for a friends birthday as they have a thing aboout sharks lol

One the swirling, I worked from the outside in not inside to the outside. Sorry for the wrong information. I just re read my post. Good luck with your cupcakes.
